A cousin of the pink raspberry, the black and glossy blackberry is one of our rarest natural berries. It is found in the wild mostly in Åland, if cared for it can also find it's home in gardens further north. The elegant blackberry symbolizes success, abundance and good luck. Blackberries, which only ripen in late summer in Finland, teach patience, Finland's cool summer can delay their ripening well into autumn. But the wait is rewarded! The soft and sweet taste of blackberries is one of a kind, it cannot be compared to other fruits or berries. The blackberry reminds us that the appearance can be deceiving: the black, dark and very spiky blackberry turns out to be soft, tasty and unique inside. Perhaps it reflects the innermost essence of the Nordic people.

Materials
Polymer clay and glass beads. Metal parts are hypoallergenic: surgical steel or 18 carat gold plated surgical steel. Jewellery is nickel free. All parts are waterproof.
Care guide
Handle with care, jewelry contains glass. Metals are stainless steel.
Light wash with soapy water if necessary. Can also be cleaned in an ultrasonic cleaner.
Avoid contact with strong chemicals, such as spraying hairspray while wearing the jewelry without covering it. Put jewelry on last after dressing up.
If foundation sticks to the lighter polymer clay parts, you can clean them with nail polish remover and a cotton swab, rinse well with water.
Avoid exposing 18 carat gold plated jewelry to long-term moisture, sweat & mechanical abrasion -this way the plating will stay beautiful for a long time.
Jewelry is best stored in its original box.
